For those who use OPK test strips..

I thought I would share my experience with others, just in case anyone else was in the same boat I was. Originally, I thought I didn’t ovulate this past month. I was so bummed and discouraged, however, after talking with a close friend who has seen a fertility specialist and just recently announced that she was pregnant, I realized that I did in fact ovulate. I had been using OPKs since I stopped spotting, regularly, for twice a day. The picture below is from CD 15. I took these at 8a.m. I was so fixated on the fact that since the test line wasn’t as dark as or darker than the control line, that it was negative. However, this actually was my LH surg. I was also having large amounts of EWCM and my temp spiked that same morning. This is also the same day Glow had pinned as my ovulation day. My body was telling me I was ovulating and I let a piece of paper convince me that I wasn’t 🤦🏼‍♀️. Not all surges look the same on test strips. Some women have such quick surges that it could be missed between tests. I’m not saying this is every woman’s problem who hasn’t gotten a positive LH test, but, this may give someone else the comfort that I needed. I was also advised to use the Clear Blue digital ovulation tests because it takes the guess work out of strip reading.
