Is it normal for a baby to wheeze?

My baby has been wheezing since she was a month old she’s now 5 months old I’ve asked the doctors why and they keep telling me it’s because babies air ways are little but I feel like it’s asthma anyone have a baby with asthma and what are the signs that a baby could have asthma?

Uh my husband has had chronic asthma since was literally a baby and his mom actually told me he was going around wheezing and breathing hard and she thought might be congestion or anything else so she gave him meds and humidifier but it never got better and she took him to see a doctor and found out he had chronic asthma. So i would definitely get a second opinion because don’t no baby go around wheezing and it’s not serious.
