To those cheated on, was your Ex a successful person?

It’s vague but I phrase it like this because I heard as advice that if you want a good relationship, your S/O should be independent, have a good job and their own car and it had me thinking.. don’t cheaters come and go successful as well as being deadbeats?

My ex husband was successful. He had a good degree and was finishing his 8th year in the military. He cheated on me with a hooker over seas. Successful or not, anyone can be a cheater

My ex cheated on me when i was in the hospital fighting for my life. He never worked a consistent job for the whole year of our relationship and when he did work all his money went to weed mean while i paid all the bills. Cheating doesn’t happen because of your job or what you do for a living it happens because the person is an asshole.

My dad has always been successful in his work life and he’s owned his own cars as well as company cars he’s had with job contracts he still cheated on my mum several times and made growing up in that household a nightmare. 
Cheats are going to cheat if they get the opportunity to cheat. Money has nothing to do with it.

Lol no. In the almost year we were together he got fired 3 times, got evicted 3 as well, failed out of culinary school, and crashed my car and never paid for the damages
