Crib? Bassinet? Co-sleeper?

Question

So I’m a first time mom and I want to know what will you be using as a sleeping arrangement for your baby or what have you used and saw that worked better. I really want to use a bassinet since the crib will be in the other room (don’t want my baby to sleep in the other room until he is 6 months plus or when he out grows the bassinet) but my family members say co-sleep but we honestly don’t want to do that. Are you co-sleeping, using a bassinet, or crib?

With my son he was in the bassinet until he was sleeping 8+ hours (around 9 weeks) then I put him in his crib in my room. With this baby we’ll probably do the same, bassinet until he/she is sleeping a good stretch then into the crib

With my first he slept in a pack n play with the bassinet attachment (flat but raised mattress) until he was three months old, then we moved him to the crib in the next room because we were disturbing each other’s sleep. 
This time we’re setting up the crib in our room and the baby will sleep there from day one and probably until they’re a year old. Our kids will be sharing a room eventually but I don’t want the newborn waking up my older child constantly. 
I don’t like bedsharing. I find I never get a good sleep and always wake up grumpy.

With my first, the plan was the halo bassinet in our room until 6 months and then his crib in his nursery. He hated that bassinet and didn’t even stay a full minute in that thing without screaming crying. We got the dockatot and placed it between my husband and I at nights and he slept so peacefully. During the days though I always placed him in his crib to get him used to it, so transition to his crib at nights went smoothly. I plan to do the same with our second, dockatot at nights for the first 6 months. However, I will try the halo bassinet again just because that thing costs so much and we never ever really used it, lol.

Hated cosleeping with my daughter (now 14 y/o). Greatly preferred a bassinet. This time (EDD 6/28) I plan on a bassinet that I can move for the length of maternity leave. But I'm flexible honestly and have already inherited a crib from a friend so really it'll be wherever Baby sleeps best, honestly.

We did a bassinet with my daughter as well.. she pretty much grew out of that at 3 months and we switched her to her crib in her room. Plan on doing the same with this little one as well!

I plan to have a pack n play in our room with a bassinet attachment, but will probably end up co sleeping more often than not. I have a snuggle me organic pillow to use for baby as well.
With my first kiddo he would sleep in his bassinet from like 8pm-12/1am and then want to nurse every hour after that so I’d cosleep from there. I didn’t trust my husband to sleep next to him, but as a breast feeding mama on no medicines I felt very in tune with him and felt safe cosleeping.
