Caffeine?

What's your opinion on caffeine while pregnant especially in the first trimester?!

I'm honestly guilty of drinking more caffeine than recommended at first because the acid feeling of a soda helped my nausea at first, but now that I'm not sick all the time I don't drink it anymore, but my baby is fine even though I drank more than I was "suppose" to

I drink 1/2 a cup a day of coffee- I put the other half in the fridge till the next day. I know we are 'allowed' to have more than that but scaling back has actually started to wake me up just as much as the full cup did :)

Moderation is key. I was a little more careful in the first trimester and I will try to cut back again in the third. I don't want my baby to have caffeine withdrawals when it's born. Lol.

I'm still drinking coffee daily, but in moderation and I don't make it very strong.

Moderation to me is the key! I had one soda,if that a day in the first trimester and do the same now at 36 weeks.

Doctor told me two cups of caffeinated beverages a day are fine. I have had one cup a day every day. 
My cousin always tells me how she drank a whole pot of coffee every day while pregnant with all three kids. While my best friend refused to touch it. So you'll here a lot of different ideas...

I didn't drink any til my 2nd trimester. Now I limit it to 1 cup on the days I work mornings, maybe 3 cups a week.

I didn't drink any caffeine until I was 17weeks and would only drink it once a week if even that. But you are allowed 200mg a day if that helps

Less than 200 mg a day. I stuck to under 80 mg a day just to be safe though.  :)
