Cerclage anyone?

Has anyone had a cerclage and want to share their experience??
I’m 35+2 and getting mine out at exactly 37. My cervix length is at 2.14. My doctor is going to try to get it out at her office but if she can’t they’ll have to do it in the hospital and give me her another epidural. I’m just really concerned about about having an epidural back to back. And I have my C-section scheduled for 1/31. 
Did you make it to full term? Did you instantly go into labor? Did you have to get an epidural to get it out? Anything I should know?

I had mine removed on Thursday and I was 36 w 3 days at the time. They tried to remove mine in office but it was very uncomfortable and too high for them to reach. They instead sent me to L & D, but rather than an using an epidural (because of the amount of time for it to wear off) they gave me some pain medication to take the edge off.  The hospital also had a better set up and tools than they did in the office. It was still uncomfortable when they removed it, but I made it through. :)
My doctor had said since mine was put in preventatively that it was harder to reach than if it was a rescue. 
I have not gone into labor yet, I continue to have slight cramping as well as Braxton hicks, but I had those before it was removed. It’s just such a huge relief to have made it this far and know that baby could safely be here any time :)
