How is baby positioned?

Question

How the heck do you know where baby is at!? I’m feeling kicks down low on my left side but then later I’ll feel them high up right under my right boob. Sometimes when she’s kicking up high I feel a lump in that area.. is that her butt? I seriously have no idea! Lol can any of you tell where your kiddo is at?

They punch too, not just kick. One spot is probably punches, the other kicks.

when i was pregnant with my second i only sort of knew where he was laying because I was told he head down after 34 weeks i think it was but was always a guess before wether a lump was his head or bum etc

My daughter is head down in my left hip she punches and elbows there and feet are up on my right side rib area.

I don’t think i knee u TIL 34 weeks in my last pregnancy as baby started to run out of room then so became really obvious where the feet kicks were and bum sticking out! When I had it confirmed she was head down and engaged it was even easier to tell as feet were either left side or right as that’s all baby could stretch out too! And you know about it when you get a rib kick! Definitely too early to really tell now as they still have the space

I don't know why all of these people say that at 26 weeks that their baby is head down or breech... every time I have an ultrasound, my baby literally flips around.  The ultrasound tech will keep the wand in one spot and you can see my baby's butt and head and heart... I mean she is literally doing flips. But that's just what I have seen. I know when you get to 32+ weeks the baby runs out of room. Maybe because I'm plus sized, the baby has room to move around and the people saying their baby is in one particular place or position, they are smaller women with a cute baby bump. I don't have much of a baby bump.

She can be stretching her arms, shoulders, not just the feet lol especially if you feel movements in two different areas at the same time

They roll around like crazy at this time. I feel everything, but it wasn’t until 27 weeks (and I’ve felt her since 14) that I could tell how she was positioned.
