Me and my boyfriend met during welcome week of my freshman year 2018 I’m (18) he is (21) well We spent every day together literally 24/7 we literally lived together in my single dorm for my first semester but over winter break he had to go home which is 3 hours away... I assume since we did so good together that whole semester living together , I just knew he was perfect for me we may disagree but never argue. Well to make a long story short over the break a lot just changed I noticed how nonchalant he is and I notice how he’s not a good Texter and his communication over long distance is really bad and communication to me is everything and when I do tell him how I feel (I have alot) he views it as complaining or trying to control what he does. Because he has a lot of friends and he goes out a lot (not parties but maybe clubs and friends houses) and I allow that because I want to show him I trust him but still wanna know his whereabouts still and I feel as though if I have standards as your girlfriend you should just understand and respect that and he claims he understands that.... but then says I’m (controlling and complain) and I don’t think it’s his age difference because when someone loves someone your going to just show that even if your 3 hours away from the person you should still know how to communicate and let that person know you love them just as you do in person. But he lacks that and I just love him to death he is a wonderful guy in person but I can’t deal with how he is when there’s gonna be other times we are apart. Btw He Loyal asf and honest but to me that’s not all that makes a relationship- HELP PLEASE 😩🤦🏽‍♀️
