So my SO just told his parents that I’m pregnant. He called me after and said that they took it well. But he has this idea that we need to keep it private and not announce it publicly (Facebook) and he asked me not to post anything about it “out of respect for him”

He says it’s because he “GOOGLED” when people announce and that you can have a miscarriage at how far along I am (5 weeks) so now he wants to follow everyone on the internet’s lead. I just feel like it’s because he’s ashamed that I’m pregnant.

I feel like I have no choice in this and that he’s trying to call the shots.

So now I guess I hide my pregnancy and live in secret.
