Painful intercourse

Tonight my boyfriend and I were having sex, but as soon as he went in deep I got this shooting pain. The pain was in my vagina, left ovary and waist/lower abdomen. I’ve never had this pain before. We’ve been together for 3 years and neither of us have been with anybody else in those 3 years so I don’t think it would be an std. We are trying to conceive and have unprotected sex frequently. Not sure what the pain could mean..I plan on going to see a dr. I’m just hoping for some advice in the meantime.
