I always say that by getting tattoos and piercings and dying my hair that I am cultivating a body that I like. I’ve always had body image issues and those are the things that make me feel most beautiful. With them, my body is a work of art.

i did a temporary tatt first on my wrist, i fell in love and felt so naked without it. now that i have it done it’s like it’s been there my whole life. same for the one on my ankle.

They are like body armor,  the way some womens make up is war paint.
