How do you feel leave your ebf baby at home for work?

My baby turned 6 month old and i want to go back to work,  he is exclusively breastfed, is it ok to give him formula on a sippy cup and solid food when iam away from home

Well you will have to pump every time you would feed him at work of you want to keep your supply how it is so I would just give him that in a bottle

Yes it is alright. You dont have to pump. Babies will generate the supply and if they want more they'll feed more if they don't need that much, the supply will drop. Even if you have one feed a day, it will be there for you. I know from personal experience. It is only at the beginning when it can be rapidly drop and grow. I mean my son was13 months and breastfeeding only at night time once and milk was coming out and I didn't need to pump. The lady who said you HAVE TO PUMP is wrong. But you do whatever you want to do. Formulas nowadays are alright and your baby is 6 months not 6 weeks xxx. Do what makes you and the baby happy XXX and don't worry

My girl won't take formula in place so I have to pump but mainly BF her. I couldn't leave, as hard as some days and nights are. But many can.
