Please help quick! Should I reach out to her?

My deadbeat babydaddy hasn’t been in my sons life in 5 years. He dropped off the face of the earth after I told him I was pregnant. I haven’t been able to get into contact with him and child support can’t locate him. Finally through some deeper digging I found the mother of his first child. He’s in that boys life. Should I reach out and ask for his contact info or let her know that our kids are siblings in case she cares to let them meet?

Yeah I would. Her son is your child’s brother. That alone would make me want to reach out if I were you.

Yes, I would let her know but as far as reaching out to the dad it’s been 5yrs and he has showed he doesn’t want to be apart of the child’s life. Don’t beg him to be a father, as I can see your son dodged an inconsistent bullet

I’m 14 y/o and I have never seen my real dad. He knows I’m alive and he has other kids ( 1 boy 2 girls). Ends up one of the girl is in my class this year and she had no idea that I was her half-sister. Her mom never told her anything about me cuz she didn’t want her to know. Now I have met for the first time my grand parents, oncle and cousin on my dad’s side. And since I’ve met them my dad doesn’t wanna talk to them anymore cuz of me. And I know how hard it must be for you to take care of that child alone but I’m 14 and I really wish my mom would’ve try harder to make me meet him and be in his life. I would say, go talk to her cuz that’s what I would’ve want my mom to do.

I would definitely reach out to her but prepare yourself for the possibility that she will not be responsive or positive about it. Hopefully she gives you his info for child support reasons, but selfishly she may not.

I know that my mom knew I had an older sibling, didn't tell me or make an effort to give us a relationship and I'm not 20 and wish she would have reached out.
