Anyone in the position where you and your partner have different feelings about finding out your babys gender?

My husbands family is very traditional. My sister in law waited until birth to find out. Anytime anyone asks what we are hoping for my husband says he has no preference, just happy and healthy. I personally hope for a boy. Anyways, I talked my husband into finding out the gender early (he agreed to make me happy because I’m excited to find out), & when we told his parents we were finding out they were confused but still supportive. I don’t get the whole waiting to find out thing personally. I’m more of a I want to know because it’s possible kinda person 🤷‍♀️
