Age difference

My parents are 16 years apart. My dad is 65 and my mom is currently 49. When they married they were 29 and 45. They are very happy together, and didn’t have to consider divorce. They have 3 grown children that they raised well... (In my opinion.) I love my parents and they love each other and there’s nothing that can change that.

I’ve read hate on couples that have an age gap and I was offended myself. Some people think that relationships like these are disgusting. But they really aren’t. My parents were legal and very much in love.

I don’t want this to spiral out of control. But I just wanted to put out there that age differences aren’t disgusting in anyway unless it is a grown man/woman that is illegally being INTIMATE with a child of pre-pubescence or adolescents.

I also don’t want anyone to be offended by this, or judge anyone else’s opinions.
