Midwives brew?

Can someone lead me into the direction of the midwives brew? What is it? & what are the ingredients to it. Please and thank you. 😊 does it really help you go into labor?

I haven’t tried it but thinking about it! It has an 85% success rate! 
✴️10 oz of Apricot Juice
 
✴️ 8 oz of Pure Lemon Verbena Tea
✴️ 2 Tbsp of Castor Oil
✴️ 2 Tbsp of Almond Butter
Boil some water and brew the tea. Make sure you brew it pretty strong (let tea bag sit for at least 10 minutes).
Mix all ingredients into a blender, and blend until the almond butter is smooth (no chunks)
Pour into a glass and drink the full concoction on AN EMPTY STOMACH!
*It’s more effective room temperature/slightly warm…but it’s totally fine to drink it over ice if you can’t stomach it warm!”

I wouldn't, if your body isn't ready for labour it's just going to cause false labour that will just make you miserable for a few hours. Stay active and do squats and bounce on a ball but really nothing is going to force baby out before baby is ready.

You can also end up causing your baby distress and he/she can poop in the womb which can get into their lungs and there can be serious complications and they can die. Babies die from this. You’re not supposed to drink castor oil just to get your baby out earlier. Does it worth the risk? I would just drink raspberry leaf tea, go for long walks, maybe drink tonic water, have sex, eat dates and prunes, or if you like liquorice. There’s many ways to help to start labour, there’s a chance they might not work, but these things won’t put your baby’s life in risk. I would do some research before making it. I did my research and I decided to wait it out because I think it doesn’t worth risking my baby’s life or just have horrible diarrhoea during labour, it wouldn’t be fun, it’s dangerous. It’s up to you though, your body, your baby. I’m saying this at 39w4d and I’m so tired of being pregnant and tired of waiting too but still, my baby’s health is more important than this.

My midwife told me that so far its worked 100% of the time on everyone they used it on.. I didnt ask about the I gradients but she did mention castor oil and even a raw egg. 🤔

Did this and I DID go into labor.  Woke up 1am with intense contractions I could hardly breath through.  Timed 5 of them 3 mins apart and was off to the hospital.  I was in intense labor with strong contractions that ended up subsiding and they send me home by 8am.....  went from 1cm dilated to 2.5-3cm.  I don’t recommend it since it put me through hell without the outcome I wanted.  I had nausea and the shits all at once too

I watched a ton of YouTube videos on it yesterday & haven’t seen anything negative about it yet. The only thing that makes me nervous is that it has castor oil in it.
