My fertility doc did not do a progesterone draw for my last two hcg tests. I have been doing prometrium vaginally for about a week. She said that because it goes directly into the uterus that it doesn’t really enter the bloodstream (like it would orally) so they don’t test. She said, “you don’t need progesterone in your big toe!” So it makes more sense to go directly to the source. Anyone else not being monitored for progesterone levels after starting vaginal suppositories?? ☺️
