Need opinions

So, I’m 5 weeks and 2 days today. I went for an early scanning yesterday and the doctor couldn’t see the gestational sac yet. He mentioned it might be too early still and requested me to come back next week. Should I go back next week or should I just wait 2 more weeks before going? Anyone on the same boat?
