Any Moms willing to share their VBAC experience with me? I’m really interested in doing it for my 2nd and my doctor doesn’t have a problem with it. It’s been 3 yrs since I had my first child

Succesfull vbac here!! At 38wks &6.. No induction (ob doesnt do inductions due to increasine rupture to 2%) on thursday i went in for anroutine checkup and was dialated to a 2 and 50%effaced and ob did a membrane sweep. Which put me into labor saturday morning and was dialated to a 5/6 and was admitted. Sadly my ob was not oncall and had another docto. But he was as supportive or even more of my vbac than my origional ob. He let things progress on there own til he broke my water and everything went by so fast! Other than my epidural not working i loved my labour. It was painfull in not going to lie but it was the kost amazing experience. Everyone was so encouraging of my vbac, there was a nurse who came into talk to me and said she had 3 previous vbacs!! I had a 2nd degree tear but recovery has been a breeze! I was up and showering by myself the next day. Im now 5 wks PP and feeling great! They made me sign a waiver on the risks of vbacs etc and it was scary to sign it but im glad i did. Stay active, walk alot and get a yoga ball. The yoga ball was my bff thru my entire pregnancy, indid all sorts of hip excersizes on it bounced and all i did it. You will be having people try and discourage you as i had but remember its whatever you decide and if your ob backs you up then thats even better! They wont let you do one if your not a good candidate. They did monitor me for rupture and i had mo signs of it. (:

I still want to deliver at a hospital and will check all my available options. But my doctor does think I’m a good candidate for it

I had a successful VBAC on Nov 14th. Previously had a c-section in 2016 due to baby being breech. My doctor was extremely supportive. I was induced at 39weeks because baby was measuring small. When I got to the hospital I was 1.5 cm dilated. They started me on low pitocin and broke my water at 2.5 cm. And I got my epidural then. It took almost 10 hours to get from a 1.5-5cm! My epidural was so good I did not feel much at all! At 5cm they put the peanut ball between my legs and I fell asleep for an hour. They woke me up to check my progress and I was at a 10 and she was ready to come out! I pushed for 20 minutes and she was born. Still didn’t feel any pain at all. Baby weighed 7lbs so not small like they thought. It was so amazing! Such an awesome experience and I’m so thankful I did it and had such a great doctor!
