Did you do ICSI?

My doctor only does It if there is a morphology issue. My husband doesn’t. But my insurance covers It so maybe I should just ask for It?
We are unexplained infertility so what if fertilization is the issue.

We did it even tho my husbands numbers are great and he has no issues. My doctor said the only time they dont do it usually is if the patient has religious reasons. But out of 8 mature eggs, all 8 of them fertilized so id say it was worth it. Still waiting to hear how many make it to the freeze and their grading. Fingers crossed we have a couple good ones 🤞

We have unexplained infertility. But sperm count on the low side of normal. No morphology issues and I usually around 15,000 post wash. Our doctor did IVF with ICSI. Our of 14 mature eggs, we got 2 day 5 embryos. One of which I’m pregnant with currently. The other is frozen. I’m

My doctor almost exclusively does ICSI, my husband has low sperm count and motility so we definitely qualified but it does increase the fertilization percent from all the research I have seen.

My doctor tries to let the sperm and egg naturally come together but will do the icsi if they don’t fertilize. Maybe ask if that’s an option?

We are doing igsi because we will do pgs testing, my RE said that’s their clinics protocol for pgs testing

We have unexplained (morning “wrong” with husband or myself) and our clinic will do it if asked. We fall under our Funded Cycle program so it will be done regardless, but those paying have the option to pay for it or not. I feel like if your insurance covers it make sure it gets done! It’s your choice & your “money” , their job is to do it if you want it.

Because we had no male factor they did not recommend doing it. My doctor said they like the process to be as natural as possible and would only do it if for some reason the sperm was not fertilizing the egg on its own. But everything went perfectly fine🤗

We did do ICSI, my husband had slightly low count and motility, but my doctor said if there’s anything at all wrong with sperm she prefers to do it and my insurance covered it so we did.
