Keep testing and if you keep seeing a faint lime set up an appointment for a blood test.

Yes. You should've gotten a positive within the first few days of your missed cycle. You can implant as late as 12dpo and it takes at least two days for HCG to build in your system so it's best to test around 15dpo. Your cycle just may be late. I've had this happen a couple times last year and I been trying for 6 months and never really had late cycles until I started TTC.
