How often do you eat out?

I'm surprised by the results!  We rarely eat out!  I plan our dinners at the beginning of every month for the entire month and we buy the majority of our groceries then (there are a few grocery stores here you can save 10% at the first Tuesday of the month). One meal that I make for us will typically last at least one more with leftovers (that get frozen if we don't eat them right away). Eating out typically only last one meal and would be at least $8/person... There is no way we would save money eating out.

I used to eat out daily, but we moved to a smaller town with few options other than a couple fast food chains.  Now we rarely eat out.

Depends what you mean by eat out. I work at a bar and grill so I eat there most shifts- which is about 3 a week. So. If that counts then I eat out... way too much..

Often. My husband is a picky eater so it gets difficult coming up with meals. So I always get grilled chicken at a local restaurant (they sell it for $4 on its own) and I get him whatever he wants. Honestly, when I cook I spend way more than I do at my local restaurant and I eat healthier when it’s take out. When I cook it’s mainly pastas or fried chicken.
