Contractions early 2nd trimester
This pregnancy has not been easy for me. I had a car accident in early pregnancy and hit my stomach on my son's car seat which then started a domino effect. I started having cramps every day. About two weeks passed and I started having real difficulties sleeping at night my stomach would get really painful and tight. Well at around 14 weeks my ob discovered a hemorrhage in my placenta, after I started bleeding Christmas eve. Well the nightly stomach tightening started happening in the day and started causing me to wake up even more frequently at night.. Ever since they started they were written off as constipation or round ligament pains from my ob. Well as soon as the blood was discovered and the following week I would up in her office for waking up in immense pain that would come in waves. She told me it sounds like I might be having contractions and I agreed. She told me that they are non progressive but can lead to preterm labor. These contractions have been getting more painful. I use to think they were the baby moving but quickly realized it was my uterus tensing in a wave and then releasing. Today I have been having my back contracting with my stomach as well.. Does anyone have any tips or tricks with handling the pain?.. I just breath but I wish I could do something that would ease the pain even more
