Is cloth diapering really worth it though...

💙

I kept hearing how awesome it was and how much money you end up saving and how it’s really not that complicated as people make it out to be, how good for the environment and how much baby likes it more..so I’ve done a lot of research and talked to quite a few women who do it and watched a lot of YouTube vids on it, y’all lol

Not only do you have to buy the cloth diapers...prices ranging from super cheap to crazy expensive and of course the cheapest ones get a bad rep, you gotta figure out which ones you want, liners and all that to go inside of it..some types working better than other types, having to replaces the snaps on it or the elastic if it pops off or isn’t good anymore, buying wet bags to put the diapers in, buying certain things to strip all of it and clean it all because washing cloth diapers is a damn science. A lot of washing which isn’t too bad since I always have a lot of laundry anyway. But is it really worth it? I mean at the end of all this wouldn’t it be around the same price of buying disposable diapers?

I’m not totally against it cause I do want to try it, I’ve already bought some anyway but I keep thinking it sounds like it’s too much trouble and you spend the same amount of money🤷🏼‍♀️
