Multikid mamas share your postpartum/baby / family/ life hacks !!

:(

I'm a FTM due Feb 7th but I have a couple things I've heard of a couple things that have been super helpful for other moms:

Crib sheets and changing ; if you are using a pack n play or something similar for sleeping or sleeping AND changing layering sheets / disposable pads SO night time blow outs are less hassle to deal with. (on mine I have mattress, protector, pad, sheet, pad, sheet)

- use cheap puppy pads instead of ones "specially designed for babies " they're the same damn thing and bought in bulk are much cheaper. I also plan to keep a couple of these pads in each car & diaper bag for easy clean ups. They can be thrown down ANYWHERE and just tossed after if anything got on them. If you get the huge ones you could probably cut them in half and get more for your money too

- instead of a diaper genie and diaper disposal bags , use a 10 gal garbage can (I have one from Walmart that you step on and the lid pops up, $10) line with a grocery sack(that you always have an abundance of), and put the diapers themselves into dog poop bags.

I got 1 pack of 80 poop bags from the $1 store , throw each diaper in thier own poo bag and then into the garbage sack. Just take the sack out and tie it up. The only down fall I see to this is emptying the can twice a day instead of once.
