S/O parents

When I got pregnant it wasn't planned. My boyfriend and I had been together for 2 years we lived together etc planning on getting married. Every since we told his father we were having a baby, he's been trying to convince my significant other to move and leave me and his unborn child and never look back. I trust my significant other not too but his dad has created such an issue over this baby. I understand that it's not ideal. But we are both 24 years old. He hasn't lived in the same city as his parents in 6 years, and I'm just feeling really disappointed in his father. Has anyone had to deal with anything similar?
