How to get back to blonde with little damage?

My hair was a gorgeous light ash blonde, kinda whitish and about a month ago I impulsively dyed it brown. I tried color oops and I think I did it wrong because it only got slightly lighter. How can I get it back? I know I’ll take some damage but I only dyed it once and it hasn’t been that long

You have to start with adding highlights a little at a time
I had red hair and had to get highlights every 6 months until the blonde I wanted was all over my head
You worse off stripping your hair and then doing blonde
Just do the highlights every six months

Since you used such a dark color you’d need to bleach it. Unsure how well your hair handles bleach so don’t want to give you any bad advice on doing it yourself so maybe try a hair dresser but they’ll likely do it within 2-3 treatments which can be costly...
