Pink eye in 14 month old

My daughters eye seems to be getting infected, it doesn’t seem to bother her yet (it just started today) but it’s producing so much mucus I’m having to use a damp tissue to wipe it away every 30 min. It’s also a little red, being tomorrow is Sunday we can’t see her pediatrician until Monday, is there anything I can do for her mean time to help keep her comfortable? Her eye seems a little swollen.
