How long after

Shanean • Fri, Aug 28 • Ttc our second child. Really want our first to have a sibling. Would love to have 3 children, they are such blessings!!

How long after delivery should you start your period? I bled for about a month after delivery my baby will be 8 weeks next thurs and I still haven't started. I had the nexplanon put in last week I heard it could stop periods but I figure I should have at least one period before it begins working.
