Need advice

So last week I found out what gender my baby is and the got a registry ready for my family in other states and such. The father of my baby and I broke up and today he bought some things for his own son. His mom found out and said he can’t buy anything without her and then proceeded to tell him not to buy anything. Then after that she said I’m after his money..... how is him buying clothes and things needed for a baby me going after his money? I’m so confused and hurt and I feel like I can’t do this anymore I feel like a complete waste I’ve been so depressed and when his mom said that it just hurt so bad😞
