When did you first have intercourse after having the baby?

Kinda scared to have sex because I don’t want to get pregnant again 😅 and worried it’ll hurt

Got the ok at my 6 week follow up but I wasn’t ready until 8 weeks. Then I had a massive aversion to sex. The thought of it made me sick to my stomach. After all the exams, L&D, follow up exams, and breastfeeding, I didn’t want to be touched AT ALL (thanks breastfeeding). I am 6 months PP and I’m starting to enjoy sex again! Still breastfeeding but solids and 1 afternoon bottle has helped me a ton.

A week before my 6 weeks was up just couldn't wait any longer 🤦🏾‍♀️I stopped having sex at 8 months pregnant OB didn't want me to start labor had a schedule c section at 37 weeks due to medical issues from a previous birth so I was well over due😂😂 only did it once  though 🤷🏿‍♀️

We waited TWELVE weeks because my 2nd degree tear didn't heal properly and I had to have another procedure to fix it. 
I wouldn't even call out first few times sex. I could barely get it in without significant pain

It was 3 months before we tried and it was horrible🙈 between my episiotomy and dryness from Breastfeeding it was very painful. It did get somewhat better after I stopped breastfeeding at 14 months

With my first baby we attempted at 3 months, but I was still in too much pain.  I’d had an episiotomy.  By month 4 I was healed enough, but it took a while longer to be pleasurable.  I’m hoping this time is better, but I had a second degree tear.  I’m only 1 week postpartum now.

I wouldn’t chance anything until you’ve had your 6 week check up. We personally didn’t try a thing until around 7/8 weeks pp. just make sure you don’t fuck like rabbits right off the bat lol take it slow and easy almost like you’re losing your virginity all over again lol

We experimented a little after week 6...used lots of lube but I was still a little sore. Then we had to wait because I got an IUD put in at week 7.
