Baby stuff?

How soon did you start getting baby things for your baby? With my daughter I started buying things like as soon as I found out and I am having a boy and all of my baby stuff ( like bassinet swing changing table) are all gone and I haven't bought anything besides one outfit for him and in almost 6 months. Am I procrastinating or am I okay to be late? This is my boyfriends first baby and he thinks it's too soon to buy things for him so when I look at things in stores he's always like " don't you think it's to soon" and I'm like aw it's so cute I'm just looking when I really just wanna buy everything? Lol

I'm buying things that are on sale and are gender neutral. I'm only 9 weeks :)

If he says no and to wait try buying baby wioes and diapers because you can never have enough of those and its good to be stocked up before baby versus not having much when hes here.

I'm 6 months as well? And this being the first grandchild... I haven't bought anything. But let me tell you when my spare room looks like right now lol! I would wait till after your shower, if you're having one. That way you can see what you still need and don't get duplicates.

My opinion the sooner you start buying stuff the better. I started buying stuff at 12 weeks & then went crazy after we found out the gender. I had a baby shower at 31 weeks & we got some useful stuff but I'm so glad I bought everything I did because Other wise I would have been stuck trying to get it all in the final weeks. That's stress you want to avoid. We had everything we needed & our nursery complete at 33 weeks. It feels great to be extra prepared. 38 weeks 3 days & just counting down the days now 😊.

If you have the money to buy it now, then do it (: because it will all add up if you wait until the last min.

I started buying for my twins once I found out they were girls. I would start buying now honestly. There were some things my mom was buying for us and she kept saying I'll get it next week and I kept telling her they would be here at 36 weeks and I was right lol plus we had to go buy all preemie clothes since we had none for them which are actually hard to find.
