Gender reveal question

Question for all you moms out there. How did you all find out the gender.

Did you do a reveal and both find out the gender then?

Did either one of you find out and the other one find out during a reveal?

Did you both find out and reveal to everyone else?

Here's why I'm asking. I wanted to find out with my boyfriend during our gender reveal. But now were not seeing eye to eye and here is why. I have my anatomy scan scheduled for Monday February 4th. My nephews 1st birthday party is that weekend Saturday February 9th and all of my family will be there so we cant have it that day. My boyfriends mom who is paying and planning it then decided to choose the following weekend either Feb Friday the 15th or Feb Saturday the 16th which is fine by me. I've waiting this long to find out what's another 2 weeks. Anyway now that we cant do it the weekend after the scan and have to do it the following my lovely boyfriend does not want to wait that long to find out so he wants to find out on the 4th without me and then me find out during the reveal. I'm just stuck on what to do now. Should I just let him find out the 4th and still me be surprised by the gender and the reveal. Should we both just find out and reveal to family. Or should I try to talk him into finding out with me. (Even tho I doubt hell go for it. Hes impatient😂)

Any suggestions or comments are appreciated as I am stuck here.
