Rubella negative

This morning my ob’s office called to tell me that my rubella titer was negative, which means I am not currently immune to rubella. The person then proceeded to let me know that I needed to get the vaccine and then the recommendation is to wait 3 months to conceive after vaccination.

Trying to be positive, but the idea of having to wait another 3 months was a little heartbreaking. I looked it up and the cdc recommends waiting 28 days. Anyone else had something similar happen?
