Blood Test Wrong???

I took the gender blood test at 12 weeks. It came back as boy. I had my gender ultrasound today at 16 weeks and it looks like it’s a girl! I was shocked when the doctor originally said boy because I was 90% sure I felt like it was going to be a girl. Could the blood test be wrong? My first child was a boy.

It all depends on what type of blood test you took.

My sonographer said she would say her assessment was wrong over the blood test I had done at the doctor. She was very confident it was 100% accurate. It really depends what test you did.

Did you do an in home test or did the doctor perform it? With my first son the ultrasound technician said we were having a girl. Low and behold he was a boy!

Did you do genetic/gender through your doctors office or something like sneak peak?

The blood test done by doctor says boy but she did the ultrasound 4 weeks later and she says it looks like a girl. Maybe it’s just too early to tell.

I’m so confused.. you had the bloodwork done and it said boy. You had the ultrasound done and your physician said the ultrasound showed a boy but you think it’s a girl?

Mine was wrong! But I did the at home sneak peek test, so it’s possible (most likely) that I somehow contaminated it and got male DNA. Did you take the test at your doctors office or at home?
