Scared of SIDS???

I think most mothers are afraid of this thing that has claimed many babies' lives with no clear explanation. I came across a few articles possibly linking fabric softeners to SIDS. I just wanted to share because the more information we can cycle through us, the better off a chance we gave preventing things from happening. My search was for fabric softeners causing damage to skin and I just happened to stumble across the mention of SIDS so I don't know much, so I guess research it if you are interested in knowing more. Update:Just a few words, my condolences to anyone who has lost someone due to SIDS. I'm not saying there's a definite correlation between it and fabric softeners, I was just saying that they mentioned the toxins in fabric softeners may have something to do with it. I know my asthma also gets triggered by strong scents as one of the moms mentioned about her baby, so that was how I figured it could possibly be connected. I don't want anyone to think that I believe in any way that I've solved what has been a mystery to many for so long. I just want us all to do research into everyday things that we don't think twice about because we can be affected by so many things that we don't even think twice about.
