Whatd you do with your first kid during birth?

Alright so this is gonna be our second child. Due sept 2. What did y’all do with your first kid when you started going into labor? We aren’t close with anyone here and don’t have family here. So I’m already worrying about it lol

If we had no one to help my hubby would stay home with the kid

I went into labour at 11pm my 2 year old was asleep. We had a friend come over and stay and my SO was back before he woke up then they came to hospital to take me and baby home. Do you have any friends you can ask? X

He’s staying in the room till it’s time for me to push, then he’ll go to the waiting room with my Dad.

She will just be with us when we have him. We didnt plan to but we have to give birth 2 hours away so we dont have anyone around to watch her

It’s easy for me as I’m having a repeat csection, so my son will go with my in laws overnight and I’ll be leaving the hospital the day after. 
Your husband might need to be with your child, but if possible I’d start calling and asking family to come down and help(if possible).

That’s going to be tough without anyone around to help you. My daughter is going to have to stay with my mom. Luckily I’ll probably be induced so I’ll know exact times
