Contractions or BH?

My belly gets really tight on the top and gets a crazy shape. Sometimes they make me feel short of breath just from the tightness. I’m 39 weeks 2 days. Last appointment I wasn’t dilated at all but was softening.

Probably BH. But look for a back ache that comes with it. Sometimes contractions are more in your back. I thought I was just having BH because I had a back ache with them the other night. But we went to L&D to get checked and I was in labor 👀

This is happening to me!! I thought baby girl was just adjusting herself. It’s not painful or anything but i feel a little short of breath!

Labor contractions generally harden the tummy All over rather than in one spot or lower abdomen.  Try laying down on your left side.  If they go away, most likely BH.
