Which type of birth control should I use

I am trying to find the right birth control for me, I don’t want to you birth control pills or anything with hormones and I also don’t want to use condoms. I have read about birth control sponges and diaphragms but I would prefer something that I can do myself like the sponge. Does anyone have any experience with these types of Birth control, I’m a little hesitant to use them because they are only 78-88% effective
