My boyfriend says he doesn’t like missionary

So my boyfriend and I have been dating for 2 months and had sex for the first time. We did if missionary and he said he “didn’t like it”. As in he doesn’t like missionary, and said we need to get different positions. He wants to try doggystyle. I was kinda offended when he said he didn’t like it, because I mean it was the most comfortable for me for my first time, considering the sex hurt quite a lot, and I enjoy the intimacy of missionary. I thought having sex itself would be good enough for him, but obviously not. I don’t know what to do, or to tell him, because I really like missionary and don’t want to do positions like doggystyle, and he doesn’t.
