4 days away

I'm four days away from my scheduled c section due to an emergency c section no more than a year ago for my son and I'm honestly only petrified about the needle in my spine I'm sure this time around I won't be in full on labor for 3 days so the contractions won't be able to distract me I'm just praying I don't twitch or become impossible to poke that they have to put me to sleep like with my first thats a whole other story but for the ladies that have had a c section with no pain how does the needle feel going in ?
