35 weeks, baby in Oblique position...advice?
My baby was lying head down in my pelvis at 28 weeks on ultrasound & things were going well, then last week (34 weeks) baby turned transverse in my abdomen. It was incredibly uncomfortable, so I tried all kinds of positions to try to get baby to go back to head-down. After a couple hours, baby decided to flip somewhat back down, but apparently not all the way. My OB said yesterday (at 35 weeks) he is currently lying oblique (diagonal) in the womb with his head stuck by my right side/hip & that the head is no longer descended into the pelvis. It is better than transverse, but still really uncomfortable for me & I am just hoping baby drops back down again soon 😩 Did anyone else have this problem? Did it resolve before delivery? Any tips? I’ve been trying sticking my butt in the air to relieve pressure temporarily, hip circles on & off birthing ball, bouncing on birthing ball, squats, hip sways, side-lying...
