How long do you pump a session?

Question

I just started pumping while I am at work. I feel like it takes forever and my boss is getting annoyed. How long do you all pump for? 
Also (in comments):
Do you continue to pump for 2 minutes after the last drop? 
Does the pumping ever get faster (like as your body gets used to it)?
Does the first pump of the day always take longer?

I’ve always exclusively pumped.  My sessions are either 30 or 45 minutes.  Your boss needs to back off and let you pump.  Don’t rush.

I've been pumping since babies been born and I pump between 10 to 20 minutes a session depending how much time I have. I never pump until I'm empty because that would never happen. I pump until I either have enough, The collection bottle is full, or run out of time

I only get a 15 min break and it takes me about 5 mins to go somewhere private to pump

I set a timer for 15 min if it’s still streaming and it’s not busy at work ( I work in a hospital ct department)I go an extra 5 min. So usually a 10 o’clock pump for 20 min I get 8 oz. and a 1 o’clock 15 min I get 4 oz. I’m still dripping at both but I hate it so don’t think I could go longer plus I would feel bad about staying away that long

So the law states that they have to provide you with a "reasonable amount of time" to pump. I am trying to figure out what a reasonable amount of time is. 
I currently get paid for pumping on my breaks but I think my boss is looking at making it unpaid. My pump is only on for 10 to 15 minutes 3 times a day but, due to the logistics of my work space, I am usually not working for 30 minutes each time. I don't mind it being unpaid but then I will have to work longer hours, which then means another pump session (the part I am not ok with). So I am just trying to get more data from others about timing so I have something ready if we talk about it again.

I always pump for 12 minutes, every time. I set a timer. Even if I don’t get it all out, it’s something, and as a teacher I am happy to be able to pump 3x a day like that while at work. It’s still hard to keep up with my LO but I’m doing my best! If your boss keeps being rude, ask your doctor for a note to explain how often you need to pump and for how long.

You should always empty your breasts no matter how long it takes. Sometimes i stop flowing after 10 minutes and sometimes it takes about 15, but I always at least pump 15 minutes per the advice of my LC. Your boss has to allow you to pump, so they cannot say anything
