Only Depo Provera does.

Not all makes you gain weight it's just a side affect that some people get, I take the pills and I haven't gained any weight if anything I've lost weight

I've tried many types..the depo made me gain about 20 lbs in a couple months and nexplanon made me gain about 60 lbs in  year! All others haven't been too bad.

Nexplanon didn't make me gain weight, but I had a horrible time while I was on it. I actually lost weight being on the shot and so did my friend. Another friend of mine that's on the shot remained the weight.

Paragard is hormome free so it doesn't make you gain weight!

Some people have complained that it does, but that's from a copper imbalance (not very common with Paragard but possible) and not the IUD itself. Easily counteracted by taking some vit C and zinc. :)

The nexplanon didn't make me gain any weight. And it works great for some people. But it wasn't for me, I had it removed
