Breast feeding ?

Is anyone else not breastfeeding ? I'm in a bunch of facebook pregnancy pages I find them helpful and very interesting. I learn something new everyday about parenting or giving birth. The only thing I don't like is how judgemental some ladies can be. I said I wasn't  breastfeeding and they acted like I said I wasn't gonna feed my baby at all! They made me feel horrible :-( I didn't with my son and he is a healthly smart 4 year old. I'm a little over 7 months pregnant now and I am not going to with this one. I love my children more then anything and just because I don't wanna breastfeed doesn't mean I love them any less.

As long as baby is getting fed that's all that matters! Don't listen to anyone trying to turn you down and make you feel horrible. People have opinions but really that's all that matters is baby gets fed and loved 💖

Breast milk is best for baby. A lot of women take that fact and run with it. They'll claim you don't love your baby or that you're weak. With my first daughter I tried to breast feed and she wouldn't latch properly. This led to three weeks of constant crying (on both our ends), frustration and I developed serious anxiety. My doctor suggested that I pump. I tried. I could only get half an ounce at a time from each breast COMBINED. I was young and didn't know anything about boosting my supply. I finally had a total breakdown and my mom took baby for a day and she formula fed her. My daughter chugged that formula down, she cooed and carried on, she slept sooooo well and after getting a day of rest and having a happy baby returned to me I finally felt that I was doing what was best for our particular situation.

With my second, I did breastfeed. I had done a ton of research and was able to work through it. I loved it and it worked for us. I will try to do the same with this next baby.

My point? Yes, breast milk is best. Is breastfeeding always best for mom and baby? Nope. You have to do what works for you and your baby and if that means formula feeding...then do it. That's what it's there for.

I legitimately only breastfeed 6 weeks. Just to make sure all the colostrum is out. I despise breastfeeding, it's not fun. Both of my girls are extremely smart. My sister never breastfed either of her boys and they are just fine! As long as you are feeding your kid who cares!

I breast fed my son. I tried to anyway haha it's exhausting!!! I did it for a month or so, then I switched him to similac. He's a very smart 3 yr old. I plan on breast feeding for a few weeks with my 2nd. But it's your choice completely. There's a lot of pressure on woman to breast feed and I don't think it's fair. I remember in the hospital after I had my first, the nurses and doctors were SO pushy about it!! Luckily I had one awesome nurse who saw how tired I was and gave him a bottle so I could sleep. Don't let those pushy people make you feel bad! Everyone is different 😁

I didn't breastfeed my daughter and she's a healthy, brilliant 6 year old!  Don't let anyone get you down. You do what you think is right and what's best for you and YOUR baby!

I formula fed my first three for the most part (only breast fed the first few weeks) and will be breast feeding this one. I'd never judge someone who is formula feeding! Do what you have to do, and don't let the opinions of others get you down 😀

Formula isn't as good as breastmilk. As long as you aren't claiming it is, I don't see a problem. 
Research shows that breast fed babies have fewer health problems throughout their lifetimes and lower incidents of obesity. If you are aware and making an informed choice then that's good. Unfortunately, many people don't look at the research properly and they make ill informed decisions based on secondhand information and anacdotal opinion.

I didn't with my first and any criticisms I got I told them grow up, not everyone has the same pregnancy/baby experience, and that was the end of it. They assumed I was lazy, selfish, or didn't care about my child and instead of saying "what made you choose that" to learn they just assumed I wasn't a good parent.

The reason when explained made they shut their mouths very quickly since I had a shattered shoulder, had to take pain meds for that to heal and make it 4 days without surgery, and was in surgery 3 days after my emergency c section for a shoulder reconstruction I wouldn't be released from the hospital without. A few still tried to argue past that as to how i could take natural pain rememdies and still have done with my arm in an immobilizer and sucked the pain uo to "provide properly for my child" but I just dismissed them as nosy, rude, and too arrogant to even deal with for the sake of my happiness.
