Selfish or not?

I don't have any kids at the moment and i dont think i should date a person with kids. I would always put my s/o first! If they have kids then of course their child would come first which i understand. But i wanna be first in somebody life just like they would in mines and to start a family of our own. Am i selfish for thinking like this?

It's selfish to think that way when you're already dating someone with kids. It's perfectly fine to know that wouldn't be a good situation for you.

No, it's not selfish, it is totally ok to set boundaries for your OWN life. Do not let anyone tell you otherwise 🙂 you're totally in the right to decide what's best for you. 
I also don't date men with kids. I don't want this kind of baggage and potential drama in my life.

Well yeah it’s selfish but at least you know what you want and don’t want. It’s okay to be selfish sometimes. It’s not always a bad thing. Just don’t get a in relationship with someone that has a child otherwise I’d have to give you the side eye lol.

I don’t think it’s selfish at all. But as you get older, particularly after the age of 28ish, it will be hard to date men who don’t have kids.

Is it selfish? Yes. Is it irrationally selfish? No. You deserve to say what you do and do not want too. Now if you start dating someone with children then drop on them “I don’t like dating people with children”. That’s irrationally selfish and mean. You knew that before you went in. If you don’t want it, you don’t want it! 🤷🏻‍♀️😘
