8 weeks and light bleeding. Should I be concerned?

I woke up last night to go pee and found out I have been doing some light bleeding. I'm close to nine weeks. In my last pregnancy, I had placenta praevia and bled during that too. I won't even be able to see my doctor for the first time for another two weeks, but I don't know whether it is worth a trip to the er. Should I just try to wait it out or go in? The blood is very watery and almost brownish.
