Waxing after birth

Question for women who have already given birth before and are used to getting Hollywood/Brazilian waxes: how soon after a vaginal birth can you have an 'everything' wax again...? I'm sure some of you will think I'm nuts but I would just love to treat myself to a spa day with a nice facial, massage AND a wax (legs & Hollywood) to feel like I'm claiming my body back for myself some time after birth... But obviously if there is stuff that hasn't healed yet down there a wax that (pardon my frankness) goes all the way up my butt crack is off the cards for a while...! Right now I'm as hairy as I've ever been and I can deal with that fact because I know I'm growing a baby. I'm sure I will be too absorbed by my little girl for the first while after birth to care much about the state of my foof as well. But eventually I will want to feel sexy again... And having a wax really helps me with that. I've read on some forums it's recommended to wait a year...!! That's a little depressing to be honest. Anyone have experience in this area?
