Anyone get induced??

I am 39+4 with my second baby. I'm going in Tuesday at 6am to get induced. With my first I had a very hard labor. Pushed for 4 hours. I would like to hear some stories with inductions.

After being induced with my first I was only in active labor for 4 hours and pushed for 25 minutes.  I guess it all depends on your body.  Induction can be blamed for some of it but not all of it.

I was induced with my first at 39w because my labor was going as fast it should. Once they started the poctin, it went pretty fast. This one I don't think will even make it to then! Good luck and you'll be fine.

I was induced with my first for growth retardation but she's a happy soon to be 7yr old. She weighed 4lbs 12oz when she was born. I have no idea how long my labor was but it was all worth it in the end. My 2nd came naturally but my 3rd and this pregnancy are c sections so I wasn't induced but am scared they might with this one.

I was induced at 39 weeks, it was hard but everything went well. Pitocin was the worst I tried to go without the epidural and did  for 16 hours out of my 27 hour labor, but I ended up getting it and it helped me a lot! It's a long and tough process but just think about your beautiful baby! :)
