Would it bother you if your Fiancé and his family always introduced you as his girlfriend?

I’ve talked to him about this multiple times and he always says he forgets or whatever like ? I’m not your girlfriend, you proposed to me.

I can see why you would be upset but me and my husband didn't ever really refer to each other as fiance cause we both kept forgetting lol been married almost 8 months and still sometimes refer to each other as boyfriend or girlfriend 😂😂

What does the title difference change? He is still introducing you as his partner and spouse. I wouldn’t be offended by it honestly.

Hey may still be adjusting to being engaged. My husband slips up every now and again and refers to me as his girlfriend, but were newly married.

Eh my fiancé doesn’t really refer to me as his fiancée to others, sometimes if he remembers.  But for us it might just not feel that “real” since we’re waiting a few years to marry, no actual plans yet.

He forgot that he asked you to marry him? I don’t get it. I’d want to know why he was calling me his girlfriend because you don’t forget that you asked someone to commit to you for life. Good luck! I’d be annoyed.

I honestly feel like I’ll still call my bf my bf when we get engaged. When you’ve said girlfriend or boyfriend for so long it can probably be weird to call each other something new. I wouldn’t take offense, but if I were you, if you catch someone saying girlfriend just pop in a quick “fiancé” to correct them. I don’t think it’d be rude.

I think it sounds so cringey when someone introduce someone else as a « fiancé ». 🤷🏼‍♀️ but that’s just me. 
I’ve been married for over 1 1/2 year and I still talk about my hisband as my boyfriend alot of the time. It’s just a title, doesn’t mean we love eqchother any less.
